Habits you want less of

Drinks, sugar, screen time. A "days since" counter makes one slip look like losing everything. A calendar of clear days tells the truth.

When you want less of something, the number that matters is not how long you have gone without it. It is how the weeks look. A counter that jumps back to zero hides everything that came before the slip: the clear evenings, the lighter days, the weeks that went well.

A picture, not a score

In Mostly Daily a Limit habit gets a colour calendar. A clear day is green. A lighter day is yellow, a heavier day is coral, and each one has a small mark so you can read it without relying on colour. You choose a goal of clear days a week, and the calendar shows how the month is going. There is no red and no judgement: heavier days are part of the picture, not a verdict.

Log it in the evening, and keep it quick

Once the day is nearly over, one tap logs a clear day, or you enter the amount if it was not. The widget does the same from the Home Screen. That keeps the habit light enough to keep up on the days that are not going well, which are the days a record is most useful.

A slip is information

A heavier day does not undo the clear days around it. Look at the calendar: what was different? Where were you, and who with? The pattern is what helps you choose the next small change, not a number that restarts.
